The newest bar on Beverley Road has been open for just a few weeks. In 2001 Steve Drake the owner of the Mayfair Hotel introduced a pub at the hotel front. Now four separate rooms have been knocked into one in order to create the new look bar called The Bevvy. Draft San Miguel lager is available for that holiday taste. Beverley Road nightlife is on the up with entertainment offered most nights of the week. There are disco's on Fridays and Saturdays with music from the glam seventies right up to the present chart toppers. Sunday night is reserved for competitive Karaoke nights.
